Experiences

An experience is a versioned complete process made of checkpoints and a representative context policy. It is the unit Reshot captures and evaluates.

Create an experience

• Hosted discovery drafts public pages and processes from an HTTPS URL or sitemap.
• Browser recorder captures authenticated, multi-step work in the user's browser.
• CLI or Playwright import supplies an engineering-owned deterministic definition.

All paths produce the same versioned flow definition. Review checkpoints and complete-process boundaries before activation. Executed versions are immutable; editing creates a new version without rewriting prior evidence.

Contexts and executions

Context policy records the browser, viewport, zoom, locale, direction, theme, reduced-motion setting, and relevant authentication or data state. The matrix and execution history are subordinate views of the experience rather than separate products.

Hosted discovery accepts public targets only and revalidates public network destinations at execution. Authenticated recorder and CLI evidence is labelled customer-attested. A hosted capture is labelled independent only when the trusted worker and retained-byte custody chain verify.
