Barriers

A barrier is the durable accessibility problem behind one or more observed occurrences. Reshot preserves each occurrence while consolidating repeat evidence so teams do not triage the same underlying defect as unrelated tickets.

Workbench lifecycle

  1. Confirm or split an identity proposal when matching is uncertain.
  2. Set severity, owner, component, due date, and saved-view tags.
  3. Record remediation work or approve a time-limited exception.
  4. Mark the remediation ready for verification.
  5. Run the affected experience version, checkpoint, and context again.
  6. Close only when retained post-remediation evidence passes without recurrence.

The verification event cites the before and after executions, passing evaluation, and verified retained artifact. Closing never deletes the original occurrence or remediation history. A recurrence reopens the operational problem without rewriting prior decisions.
