Conformance Workflow
Conformance follows scope, exploration, representative sampling, evaluation, and reporting. Define the product and version, WCAG target and level, technologies, pages, complete processes, exclusions, sampling method, evaluators, and dates.
Every complete process must reference its constituent immutable checkpoints.
Criterion assertions cite scoped mechanical or manual evaluations, exceptions,
and verification evidence. Not applicable requires scoped applicability
evidence; it is not an evidence-free shortcut.
Publication is blocked when required scope, evaluator, decision, evidence, or approval information is incomplete. Relevant new evidence immediately marks an approved revision stale. The old revision remains immutable and attributable.
Exports use one revisioned model for accessible HTML, tagged PDF, DOCX, JSON, EARL JSON-LD, CSV, and XLSX. These reports document a decision and its evidence; they do not certify accessibility or guarantee legal or procurement acceptance.
