Visual Test Readiness Checker

Inspect the controls behind a visual baseline before increasing snapshot volume. Four separate axes keep a strong rendering setup from hiding weak evidence or review governance.

Resolve before a baseline pilot
  • Runner image and browser build are pinned
  • Test data and feature flags are deterministic
  • Captures represent meaningful Journey checkpoints
  • Capture, mask, redaction, and privacy policies are reviewed
  • Baseline changes require an attributable Decision
  • Every baseline identifies its source Observation and context

Method

Readiness is not a visual quality score

The checker reports context, rendering, evidence, and review controls separately. A checked item means the team can produce evidence for that control, not that every screenshot is correct. Missing runner, data, checkpoint, privacy, Decision, or baseline-provenance controls block a pilot.
